My psychotherapy practice is located in Maberly and Perth in Eastern Ontario.
My areas of specialization include couples therapy, abuse and trauma, depression and anxiety, men’s issues, life transitions and grief, dream work, Buddhist psychology, and mindfulness. Specific attention is given to the human-nature relationship for those who are interested in this focus.
I am the lead author of the sourcebook Men and Healing: Theory, Research, and Practice in Working with Male Survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse. It is available here. This sourcebook is now being used by organizations in the United States (1in6) and the U.K. and Ireland (The Survivors Trust).
I also lead workshops and deliver talks on a variety of topics, including male sexual trauma, intimate partner violence, group therapy, vicarious trauma, male youth and depression, ecopsychology and ecotherapy, and burn-out among environmentalists.
